February 14, 2017. Medikai Innováció Kft. and its consortium partner has received a government grant through the Széchenyi 2020 Economy Development and Innovation Operative Program. The award will allow the development of an „Optimized Full Body Radio-neurosurgery Device" and to carry out underlying research in this area.
June 9, 2017. Medikai Innováció Kft. and the Neusoft Medical Systems Co., Ltd. (Shenyang, China) has signed a Memorandum of Understaning (MOU) at the "GATEWAY TO HEALTH” AND THE 16 CEEC HEALTH ECONOMY CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION" organized by the Ministry of National Economy and the Ministry of Human Resources. The MOU will allow the development of a joint project to create a complex technology advanced imaging and data management solution that aid the affordable early detection of cancer with the overall goal of improving public health.
June 18, 2017. With participation from MEI and colleagues from the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen, Chip Huyen from Stanford University conducted a Machine Learning Course at MEI Headquarters. The topic of the course was closely in line with several projects MEI is involved in.
October 13, 2017. The Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Debrecen has organizied its 5th ISCAME Conference (International Scientific Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering) between October 12 and 13, 2017. Dr. György Filep from MEI has delivered a invited talk in the section of „Machine and Product Design” detailing the current status of our project titled „Development of a New Radiosurgical Device”.
December 12, 2019. Medikai Innováció Kft. Received a non-refundable grant of HUF 189.22 million from the National Research Development and Innovation Fund of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, “MARKET-DRIVEN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION PROJECTS" support code: 2020-1.1.2-PIACI-KFI” .
August 31, 2022. In a press release, Medikai Innováció Kft. announced that the development entitled "Research and development of SPINOTRON treatment head positioning for the implementation of radiosurgery treatment of sensitive brain areas" funded by the 2020-1.1.2-PIACI KFI program has been succesfully completed.
